Alexander has engaged with Paddle Creative to help deliver a new custom website for their exciting start-up business, The Surpluss. The business is soon to launch and target businesses with an innovative approach to offer for the first time Industrial Symbiosis as a Service (ISaaS) with the goal of helping companies reduce their waste and optimize the use of their real and intellectual assets. It is important that the business has a website that easily communicates the unique offering. The website will aim to easily communicate the advantages of the service, showcase the platform, and generate new leads for the business.

What We Will Do
Website Development
Using the wireframe and designs provided by The Surpluss, Paddle Creative will develop designs into a fully functioning website. The initial phase will include 6 pages, based on the wireframe provided.
- Custom hero animation based on the design
- CMS & Editor - you will have an easy-to-use online editor and CMS (Content Management System) allowing you to easily add and edit content (video training provided)
- The site will be fully responsive website including cross-browser and device testing (WHAT IS RESPONSIVE)
- Cookie Consent banner
- Google Analytics setup once the site goes live
Chat Widget Integration
- Integration of Tawk.to chat widget. This will be the white-label version which removes the Tawk.to branding (after 12-months, you will be billed for a further 12-months of Tawk.to, see below)
Multi-language support
Multi-language support using the Weglot app:
- Setup and integration of Weglot into your website for seemless translation
- Auto-detection of user country for language
- 12-months of Weglot Business included (billed accordiung to Weglot pricing thereafter)
Copywriting Optimisation
You will provide the initial outline copy for each page. Our in-house copywriter will then look over and tweak it where necessary. It will then be optimised for SEO and conversions.
Website Hosting & CMS for 12-months & Support
12-months of secure, reliable website hosting of the website and a Content Management System which will include:
- 99% guaranteed up time on Amazon Web Servers (AWS)
- SSL - Essential security with a SSL certificate included for your site to prevent hacking and improve Google SEO (WHAT IS SSL)
- Local CDN (Content Delivery Network), which will increase website load spead and improve SEO.
- Access to the website backend, which includes an easy-to-use editor and CMS (Content Management System) allowing you to easily edit the website post-launch. This is integral with the AWS web-hosting

Paddle Creative work with businesses like yours to scale them by providing a remote marketing team. We are your reliable and cost-saving business growth building machine.
Project Terms
- 50% to be paid upfront, with a further 25% to be paid on signoff of 1 page website build, and the final 25% to be paid just prior to the launch of the website.
- Website hosting and CMS access is included in the cost for the first 12-months (from site launch). Thereafter it will be billed at £210 per annum with minimum 12-month commitment.
- Weglot Business subscription is included for the first 12-months, thereafter it will be billed at the current Weglot pricing. See here for more info.
- Tawk.to white-label subscription is included for the first 12-months. It will be billed at the Tawk.to pricing thereafter, currently $200 per annum
- There is NO ongoing website maintenance cost, your site will be maintenance free.
Approx Project Timeline
Approx. Completion - Mid-February 2022
Assuming we have all the designs, assets and content:
Phase One: Approx. 2-3 Weeks
Website Development
- In this stage, Paddle will collate your imagery and build your website. We will send you working pages for you to allow design tweaks.
- This will be followed by cross-browser testing and setting up SEO and Open-graph metadata to improve SEO. Your website will not be live yet, it will be on a 'staging' domain (private URL). There will be ample opportunity to feedback on the design.
- Your 12-month hosting plan will begin once this is complete.
- Your site will then be set to live on your private URL.
